1) Drive traffic to your Superstar Website!
Every time you post, You’re creating content that people can share on social networks — Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Flickr, Tumblr — Superstar Bloggers have found ways to turn this into value and keep their social media presence going and growing.
Blogs drive new traffic to your websites landing page. Because it works closely with search engines and social media, it is now very easy to track your progress.
2) Turn traffic into value!
Let’s assume you now have traffic coming to your website from your Superstar Blog, you have an opportunity to convert this traffic into value.
- Visitors are coming to your website.
- Visitors see call-to-action to your lead magnet (Exclusive content only given to subscribers.)
- Visitors click call-to-action and get to your landing page, this contains a form for them to fill in with their details.
- Visitors fill out forms, submit information, and receive the lead magnet.
3) Establish yourself as a Superstar Blogger!
The best Superstar Blogs answer this 1 common question that all their leads have.
- Is this content helpful to me?
Answering this question with your blog content will help establish you as an authority in their eyes.
This is a particularly handy sales tool for Superstar Bloggers.
If your leads find answers to their common question via your blog posts. They’re much more likely to become customers as well as “free sales people” for your services & products.Trusting what you have to say because you’ve helped them broaden their knowledge — even before they were interested in purchasing anything from you.
Leads that have been reading your Superstar Blog posts will be more likely to enter the sales process more educated in your products, and what ever else you have to offer. This makes for a far more productive sales conversation than one held between two strangers.
Leads who need questions that require in-depth explanation or documented answers can simply pull an archive of blog posts. Not only do your blog posts help move the sales process, they also become a useful resource tool for leads.

4) Think long-term!
Now lets imagine? These below mentioned activities can help you drive site traffic and generate new leads:
- Going on holiday
- Going to the gym
Good news! This is what blogging does for you– largely through search engines. Let me break it down:
You sit for an hour and write and publish a Superstar Blog post today. Your post gets viewed and shared by your subscribers. People find it on social media read it, and they too share it! A few days later, most of the hype from that post has died down but guess what you’ve netted views and leads. Most of the work, done by your “free sales people.”
5) Ripple effects of Superstar Blogging!
There are many other reasons bloggers might want to blog, but I think they’re smaller and sway from the core benefits of Superstar Blogging.
For instance, I love to use my photo blog to teach beginner photographers the basics — before they invest a lot of money and time into their passion. I also love to use it to help other professional photographers better understand the power of online marketing in their business.
And while this shouldn’t be their primary use, blogs have also become great outlets through which advertisers can communicate PR-type important information — things like product releases, event information or even sell their products.
These are all great ripple effects or uses of a Superstar Blog. but to me this is secondary.
If you’re looking to start a blog or get more revenue for one you’ve already started, the reasons above are a great place to start!
